Position Overview
The Head of Operations will lead Fuse Finance's client onboarding and implementation processes, overseeing a team of Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Onboarding Specialists. This role requires a strong, experienced leader who can efficiently manage multiple client implementations, ensuring that all projects progress within agreed timelines. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, high customer satisfaction, and smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Excellence: Oversee multiple client projects concurrently, ensuring each implementation follows the timeline, scope, and quality expectations. Identify risks and apply problem-solving strategies to keep projects on track.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, solutions architects, and onboarding specialists, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and effective project execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to coordinate technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and refine implementation processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding workflows and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact during the implementation phase, ensuring clear, high-level communication with clients, managing expectations, and delivering updates effectively.
- Provider Management and Integration: Manage relationships with external providers, ensuring seamless integration of their solutions with Fuse Finance’s systems. Coordinate with providers to address technical requirements, implementation timelines, and performance standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in implementation projects with a high degree of complexity, ideally in a technical or financial environment.
- Technical Product Implementation: Prior experience with the implementation of technical and financial products; familiarity with technical integrations and financial operations is a plus.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams and with clients.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical requirements, with knowledge of common project management tools and methodologies.
- Consulting experience: 3-5 years of experience at a Top strategy consulting firm (Mck/BCG/Bain) or Top specialized firms (Oliver Wyman, Accenture, Deloitte,etc)
- Education background: MBA from top school
Desired Qualifications:
- Financial and Technical Product Experience: Experience working in fintech or similar industries, implementing complex technical products for financial clients.
